来自一部看过的电影

不少年前看过的一部片子，导演是大名鼎鼎的Peter Weir。
回想起来，剧情已嫌俗套。但里头Gérard Depardieu饰演的男主角弹着钢琴，轻吟的一段独白却至今印象深刻：

Once I heard the sound of wind in the trees，

Once I heard the sound of the laughter of children，

And I wept warm,salty tears for the lost trees,

Let the children come unto the trees and I will give them hope,

But there are no trees for the poor,lost,poor children.

Decay is their toy,

Despair is their game,

They have only chaos to climb...........

译文：

我听过风在树中发出的声音，

我听过孩子们发出的笑声，

我为那些失落的树木留下咸湿的热泪，

让那些孩子到树上来吧，我将给予他们希望，

可是，没有供可怜的迷失的穷孩子们爬的树。

腐败是他们的玩具，

绝望是他们的游戏，

他们只有混乱可以攀爬............
